Hope '08 is flexible rather than prescriptive, with local churches working together in designing a programme, which works for them in their community. The idea of HOPE is for villages, towns & cities to focus on different aspects of mission during 2008 - all contributing to a major impact in the region. NE1 is hosting Hope here in the North East.

• Jan - Feb: 'Fresh Start'
A period of consecration & dedication towards a year of mission.
(for churches and small groups)

• Good Friday: 'Easter Passion'
Churches working together in order to celebrate Easter publicly
(town wide)
• Apr 22nd - June 25th: 'JUST 10'
J.John's evangelistic series based on the 10 Commandments, being held in venues north and south of the region
(region wide)
• Whit Bank Holiday: 'A million hours of kindness'

• June - August: 'One Voice prayer triplets'
Thousands of local Christians forming prayer triplets to pray for non-Christian friends & family
• Sept - Nov: 'The Invitation'
Everybody possible is invited to join a course introducing Christianity
For Example: Alpha, Christianity Explored, Emmaeus or similar
• December: 'Christmas Unwrapped'
Churches working together to put on special Christmas outreach events - doing more than we've ever done before
